Keratin is a protein that is naturally in your hair. The Keratin treatment is an application of a keratin product that is applied to the hair and locks the keratin under the cuticle layer, using heat to seal it in. The keratin fills in the porosity of the hair, as overly porous hair causes tangles, frizz and breakage. Even is you have no problem with frizz or excess curl, keratin treatments will strengthen the hair shaft and make your hair more resilient. It makes the hair look shiny and healthy. Typically, a treatment should last about 3-4 months.

DON’T wash your hair.
DON’T put in a ponytail or use clips or hair ties.
DON’T do any activities that cause excessive sweating.
DO wear your hair down at all times.
DO blow dry and smooth with a flat iron if it accidentally gets wet.

In order to prolong your keratin treatment, it’s important to use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner as sulfates strip the hair.
